The mission for the day… Gamskogel, 2659 m, in the Stubaier Alps… Carmen and me started off with a train ride up to the top station of the Axamer Lizum/Hoadl. From there we skied the west face down to the Adolf-Pichler Hütte… Skinned up to Seejöchl and then further to the Gamskogel… We were the only ones up at the top, no other people around… Meant that we had to make our own tracks which was quite hard work… I’m always amazed by the beauty of the Kalkkögel – it would be such a pitty if the two ski areas “Axamer Lizum” and “Schlick” would be connected, as it’s a nature park… Not necessary at all!!!!
