The plan was – to ski this colouir with my Fischer buddies… But it came different, so I thought, why not do it by myself? Sometimes it’s just soooo much easier 😉 No organizing when, where to meet, just go… Well, I’m really aware of the alpine risks you have in the mountains but sometimes you have to do, what you have to do… The touring conditions were nearly perfect, avalanche danger very low, so I started my mission…
Of course in the morning when the alarm clock knocked me out of bed, I was slow – as usual… Drove to Schlick and was quite late at the entry of the colouir… It was very warm, sun backed in the colouir, started hiking… In the ski area, loads of people, in the colouir just me, silence…
2 hours later, nearly all the way up the colouir I decided to ski down, as the snow conditions where getting worse and due to the warmth, the danger of falling rocks got higher… Skiing down was quite alright but I should have waxed my skis before 😉 Would have been faster and easier… Great day, cool experience, happy I did it 🙂
