Was out with the two Bastis and Mirja – www.mirjageh.com today in Fieberbrunn shooting some scenes for the Fischer White Crest team… We had a great day on the mountain and got in some quite nice shots 🙂

We had our Ziener Freeride-Fotoshooting at one of the coolest locations in Austria: the famous ARLBERG, www.stantonamarlberg.com, www.lech-zuers.at
Well, it’s middle of December and the conditions are already very good! Up on the top sections the wind has blown very heavily but further down great powder to ski…
We were shooting for next winters Freeride clothing collection, colours will be cool, me and Johanna got quite tight skiwear for today, so I need at least 2 sizes bigger for my personal gear ;-)…
Michi, Michael Mayer, www.outdoor-fotoworks.com was our photographer and I’m already curious how the pix will turn out 😉 But until I get them, weeks will run by, as he’s very busy at the moment…
Such a great day on the mountain! Puhhhh, but it was soooo cold… We had around – 20 degrees…
Highlight of the day was definetely our Helicopter flight up to the Mehlsack (2658 m) in Lech… Awesome view, 360° mountain panorama, sunset on top… Skiing down was good but still quite rocky… Well, we had the middle of december!!!! Hit quite some rocks today and as it was soooooo cold the skiboots were sooooo stiff and the skis were quite slow 😉 Apart from that, just a great day!

Yesterday Fieberbrunn, today Arlberg skiing… Life couldn’t be better 🙂
Such a great powder day yesterday with my friends and skibuddies Pia and Mankei… Local snowboard pro Ursl W. accompanied us and took us to the secret spots… Face shots and great pow – skiheart, what do you want more???
Today Arlberg… Unfortunately up on top of the mountains the wind has blown very strong, so quite difficult conditions to ski… Further down in the woods, still great powder to find 🙂 Arlberg is always fun and great for skiing!!!
It was sooooo cold and we had sooooo much fun, but noooooo time for pictures 😉

…got a call from Martin www.sickrider.com, if I wanted to join in for an adventure in the Stubai Alps… I didn’t hesitate and of course I was in…
The next day, Saturday, the weather couldn’t have been better, bluebird, fresh powder, sunshine 🙂
It’s already a week ago… Time is flying ;-)…
Last sunday me and a collague went to Ramsau/Dachstein to meet the other teammates of the “Bergstation.at” (www.diebergstation.at) for discussions about the latest avalanche safety updates…
Well, usually it takes 2 hours to get there BUT we were talking and talking and talking and didn’t realize that we were following the wrong way 😉 hahaha… 3 hours later and lots of extra km’s we finally got to the beautiful Dachstein area 😉
Met the other teammates there and had a good time… Snowpulse backpack and ABS-Airbag system www.abs-airbag.com was demonstrated, all the different beacons were tested and lots of different discussions about all kinds of searching strategies, etc was on the go…

Some impressions from the day…
…the “Fön” in Innsbruck brought very mild temperatures to Tirol, so we decided to go biking instead of skiing 😉 Perfect bike weather, challenging trails, great company with Dani and Hannes, dirt all over, awesome! 🙂
We started out from Grinzens, biked into the direction of the Kemater Alm with a beautiful view to the “Kalkkögel” and went further to the “Salfeinsalm” up on 1738 m… Hannes went up all the way to the top of the Salfein 2000 m,covered in snow, whereas we stayed behind and enjoyed the trails… The fun part came when biking down 😉 Some nice hiking trails, some snowy parts on the road, totally full of dirt when we got back to the car ;-)… GREAT DAY!!!! 🙂 Thxxxx Dani and Hannes 🙂
…Grand Opening of the new Kirschbaum Freeride and Lifestyle store in St. Anton… http://www.kirsch-baum.com/ 600 m² shopping highlight with lots of awesome sport and lifestyle equipment… It was great to see that sooooooo many young people came to celebrate the Opening… One of the highlights of the day was Lukas Steiner and his crew showing great performance in their sport – PARCOUR… Awesome!!!!
Another highlight was the BIG TOMBOLA… FISCHER supported the Kirschbaum Store with a cool new pair of Freestyle skis and I was in the happy position to present the ski, give it to the winner and talk about the FISCHER WHITE CREST TEAM… http://www.fischersports.com (New Homepage of the team should be out in the next days…) As a new team member it was of course an honour to be there representing the whole team 🙂
Happy winner of the ski was a young girl from Innsbruck 🙂
Another highlight… I guess a six or seven year old boy won an ABS-avalanche backpack 🙂 So funny because the little boy was soooooo happy not even knowing what special price he had won 😉
