Wake-up call at 4 ó clock in the morning… Together with teammates Steph and Basti and photographer Klaus Polzer, we leave for Kaunertaler glacier… A long drive with never-ending curves… Sitting in the back, not having had much for breakfast and the fast driving style of Klaus, well made it without that I got car sick… 🙂
It’s 7 a.m. and the glacier is already full of ski racers… The swiss national team, the polish national team… Loads of skiers up here… We are quite exotic with our rope, harness, pickaxe, etc… The sun is shining, the weather is blue… Weißseespitze in front of us…
It would have been a nice hike up there but it’s shooting time ;-)… Standing, waiting, enjoying the sun, the view…
Had a great day with the guys and also survived the hundred serpentines back out of the valley…
